Art gallery in Santa Monica at Bergamot Station Arts Center is seeking a hard- working, motivated, and reliable gallery assistant. This position would provide the qualified applicant with a well-rounded experience of working in a fine art gallery and gallery store at an entry-level. Essential duties: \\- light art handling and installation, packing and unpacking artworks \\- fulfilling gallery store orders \\- inventory management \\- website maintenance \\- social media promotion \\- participating with opening receptions/special events \\- conducting market research Qualifications: \\- understanding and interest in modern and contemporary art \\- must be organized and amicable \\- photography, graphic design, and social media understanding \\- knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign a must \\- strong writing skills \\- ability to multitask Commitment: 1-2 days a week, 10am-6pm Entry-level, Part-time position at $15/hr Please submit a cover letter, resume, and a list of references.
