Work under a blacksmith who has skill, drive and a passion for creating knives. We may not be able to offer very much in compensation at the beginning but at the end of the day you will be able to share your work with those that you know and blow them away. There is something about showing people a folded steel knife that makes people look at you and smile ”WOW YOU MADE THAT?” in a way that a snapshot of a pile of finished paperwork just doesn't. These are all teachable skills and we are willing to teach the right fit.
