Junior Graphic Designer

Our product lines include mugs, shot glasses, magnets, keychains, picture frames, models, ornaments, bags, towels, hats, snow globes, post cards, playing cards, flasks, etc. Anything that can serve as a fond memory of a place you’ve visited. As a Junior Graphic Designer you will work with the Art Department to assist with concepts and production of Smith Novelty items. - Customize existing designs for multiple customers - Report to Art Director for tasks while still working independently - Strong file organization - Critical thinking - Help support sales reps by creating new designs that will sell in their geographic regions - Meet deadlines - Correspond with factories, customers and sales team - Adhere to customer guidelines - Develop familiarity with the souvenir industry - Assist in production workflow - Creative collaboration - Ability to handle multiple projects - Ability to change priority based on deadlines - Asset management - Maintain ownership and responsibility of each project - Problem solving - Ability to verbally express ideas - Strong sense of layout in both print and production
