Junior Photography & Content Creator (Freelance)

Project-Based | Flexible | Reston, VA (or Hybrid if applicable)

We're looking for a creative freelance photographer/content creator to collaborate with our jewelry brand on an as-needed basis throughout the year. This is a perfect opportunity for a recent college graduate, current student, or emerging photographer looking to expand their portfolio while gaining hands-on experience working with a luxury jewelry brand.

Projects will vary depending on seasonal collections, marketing campaigns, product launches, and special creative initiatives. Rather than a traditional part-time schedule, this is a flexible, project-based role. You'll be contacted when new photography, content, or marketing projects arise, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their portfolio while gaining real-world experience.

What You'll Work On

Create beautiful, styled lifestyle photography featuring our jewelryPhotograph jewelry for our website, Shopify storefront, social media, email campaigns, and other marketing materialsCapture both product photography and creative lifestyle/editorial imageryEdit and retouch images while maintaining a polished, luxury aestheticCreate clean white-background product images for e-commerceDevelop creative concepts, mood boards, and styling ideas for seasonal campaignsCreate engaging visual content for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, and other digital platformsAssist with social media planning, content creation, and marketing initiativesDesign simple graphics or promotional materials when neededCollaborate with our team to bring campaign ideas and creative concepts to lifeStay up to date on photography, fashion, jewelry, and social media trends

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in Photography, Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Fashion, or a related field is strongly preferredStrong portfolio demonstrating photography, product photography, fashion, lifestyle, or creative contentExcellent eye for composition, lighting, color, styling, and visual storytellingExperience photographing products, fashion, or lifestyle content is highly preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain a consistent brand aestheticCreative, organized, dependable, and able to work independentlyExcellent communication and time management skillsInterest in fashion, jewelry, luxury products, or creative branding is a plus

Preferred Software & Skills

Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom/Illustrator/InDesignCanvaShopifyMailchimpMeta Business SuiteCapCut or other short-form video editing software
