Role Description The Junior Product Photographer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bloomingdale, IL. This role focuses on photographing Roman’s products for use on e-commerce platforms, catalogs, marketing materials, and social media. Daily tasks include setting up studio lighting, styling products, capturing high-quality images, and ensuring consistent visual standards across product lines. The Junior Product Photographer will organize and manage digital assets, perform basic photo retouching, and collaborate closely with lead photographer, designers and marketing team members to align imagery with brand guidelines. The role also involves maintaining photography equipment, assisting with creative concept development for photo shoots, and supporting special projects as needed.

Qualifications

Foundational product photography skills, including basic studio lighting, composition, and camera operation.Experience with Capture One and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) for retouching and color correction.Ability to manage digital assets, including file organization, naming conventions, and image delivery workflows.Strong attention to detail and quality, with the ability to follow brand guidelines and visual standards.Effective collaboration skills, including clear communication with creative, marketing, and merchandising teams.Capacity to work on-site in Bloomingdale, IL and to handle physical aspects of studio work (e.g., setting up equipment, moving products).Relevant education or training in photography, visual arts, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.Interest in holiday, inspirational, or home decor products and a willingness to learn and grow in a creative, employee-owned environment.
