Key Account Manager

The Key Account Executive position will actively manage an established Women’s business for US department stores from our New York showroom. Establish and execute Barbour Women’s US strategies, aligning with agreed global sales vision. Current relationships & experience with department stores is highly desirable. Attainments/experience (What qualifications/ training/experience  is required by the person) BA/BS College Degree Required 7+ Years in wholesale sales background within the fashion industry Must have robust experience with managing department store businesses Excellent business acumen Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills Experience working with cross-functional teams (i.e. marketing, design) and proven strong communication skills Preferably with experience in Women’s Experience in planning/forecasting Knowledge, abilities and skills (What type of knowledge and abilities are needed by the person) Be well organized, able to multi-task and prioritize time effectively Excellent showroom presentation skills and an ability to assort/merchandise product that is appropriate for your specific accounts and more widely, the North American market place Expertise in Microsoft Excel Existing relationships with Women’s Sportswear/Outerwear buyers, planners and management.
