OverviewUniversity of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus – College of Arts & Media, Visual Arts Department, Photography. This is a pool posting to establish and maintain a list of Lecturers to teach Photography courses. Appointments are part-time (less than 50%), non-tenure track, and may be semester-by-semester depending on departmental needs. Candidates hired from this pool will teach no more than two courses per semester.
The position reports to the Visual Arts Department and the Photography Area.
ResponsibilitiesInstructing students to use photography as a tool for creative expressionEvaluating photographic projects for conceptual and technical meritIntroducing students to examples of fine art photographyTeaching a wide variety of photographic theories, practices and techniquesSalary and BenefitsThe salary range is established at $5,150 per 3-credit semester course. The University offers a full benefits package; information on benefits programs is available through Employee Services. Total compensation includes leave, health plans and retirement contributions.
