Lick Observatory Public Programs Assistant

Part time (anything less than 40 hrs/wk); Limited/Temporary [3] Under supervision of the Lick Observatory Support Astronomer/Specialist, the incumbent(s) will work individually or as part of a group to support the public programs at Lick Observatory, located 23 miles southeast of San Jose at 4,200 feet elevation. The incumbent(s) will be responsible for greeting the public at Lick Observatory events, directing traffic and parking, as well as set-up and tear-down of equipment before and after events. A computer is available at the UC Santa Cruz Staff Human Resources Office located at Scotts Valley Center. UC Santa Cruz is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
