About the Role
If you’ve been waiting for your moment to actually build something creative instead of just doing random gigs… this is that. You’ll be working directly with an entrepreneur growing a lifestyle brand and podcast, capturing everything from everyday moments to curated shoots, and helping turn it all into content that hits.
This isn’t just “show up and shoot.” You’ll be in the mix, brainstorming, filming, editing, traveling, and shaping the whole vibe from the ground up. If you’re creative, quick, and want your work to be seen and felt, this is a chance to grow with something that’s building momentum.
You’ll help capture everything from day-in-the-life moments and curated lifestyle shoots to podcast recordings and brand activations. If you have a strong eye for aesthetics, love storytelling through visuals, and want to grow alongside a personal brand, this is for you.
What You’ll Do
• Shoot and edit high-quality photo and video content for social media (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Film and assist with podcast production (video + audio setup is a plus)
• Capture lifestyle content (events, outings, behind-the-scenes moments)
• Collaborate on creative direction, shot lists, and concepts
• Edit content quickly for short-form and long-form use
• Help maintain a consistent visual identity across platforms
Who You Are
• College student or recent graduate (Film, Media, Communications, or related field preferred)
• Strong portfolio (Instagram, website, or sample work required)
• Skilled in photography, videography, and editing (Final Cut, Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc.)
• Has a natural eye for lighting, composition, and aesthetic storytelling
• Organized, reliable, and able to move quickly in dynamic environments
• Excited about lifestyle, fashion, beauty, and content creation
Bonus Points If You Have
• Experience shooting content for influencers or personal brands
• Familiarity with podcast setups (cameras, mics, lighting)
• Ability to contribute creative ideas and trends
• Comfortable filming in both casual and more elevated settings
Additional Details
• Must be based in or near NYC
• Occasional travel required (passport preferred)
• Flexible schedule, with shoots happening during weekdays and some weekends
Pay: $25.61 - $30.84 per hour
