Marketing Assistant - Kayak Fishing/Hunting Company

OVERVIEW of Position: The Marketing Assistant position will support our Marketing & Product Teams in creating, editing, and producing materials that move our brand and business forward. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: • Graphic Design Updates o GOAL: Create & update marketing and internal documents in real time o Be able to take and edit product images o Be able to create & updated a variety of product & marketing documents o Be able to independently work through task list o Effectively communicate progress & obstacles on assigned tasks • Social Media Execution o GOAL: Help communicate our lifestyle branding messages on our social platforms o Be able to execute organic social media backlogging of content o Assist in monitoring social media channels for comments and reactions • Video Editing o GOAL: Quickly produce standardized product & marketing videos o Shoot product videos following a pre-determined shot list o Create standard intros, closings, and on-screen formats o Edit videos to create a finished product • Other Marketing Tasks o GOAL: Be flexible, hands-on, and willing to engage o We are a growing and agile company, be ready to jump in where needed and learn on the fly as you grow and expand your role.
