The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead organic social media and brand content, run community programs and live events, and shape brand messaging alongside company leadership. Rely on AI tools and performance data to move quickly and sharpen results.
What you'll do
- Manage the brand's organic presence across short-form video and professional networking channels, producing polished content.
- Grow a small campus ambassador pilot into a scalable program with meaningful participation.
- Organize live community gatherings and brand activations that leave guests feeling welcomed.
- Collaborate with company leadership on brand direction, messaging and positioning, including a visual refresh and new launches.
- Create brand assets, merchandise and campaign visuals with a consistent, tasteful look.
- Review performance data and use AI tools to measure campaigns and steadily widen audience, engagement and community.
**Requirements**
What we're looking for
- A strong portfolio, with links, of content you personally produced, such as short-form video, social posts or design.
- Hands-on experience managing social media accounts for an organization, whether a company, startup or student group.
- Daily use of AI tools to speed up writing, design and video work.
- Natural charisma and energy on camera, with the ability to represent the brand warmly in person and online.
- Ability to work fully on-site in New York, NY.
- Work authorization in the United States or Canada.
Bonus points
- A personal audience of 10K+ on a short-form video or photo platform, or content that has gone viral.
- A track record of hosting live events or community initiatives that drew a real crowd.
- Design skills, including Figma, or a personal website showcasing brand or design work.
- An active presence on Twitter/X.
- Genuine interest in sustainability and tech startups.
