Marketing Coordinator

The Savoy Hotel is looking for a part-time Marketing Coordinator to join our team! This position will work up to 10 hours per week and may be remote or in- office, candidates must be based in Nelson, BC. The Marketing Coordinator performs a variety of tasks that include the coordination and implementation of social media & marketing projects. Responsibilities Include: • Content creation such as photos and videos for social media channels • Perform administration marketing duties such as responding to comments and messages • Grow social media followers and maximize post reach • Support the SEO strategy with regular blog posts and content editing/creation • Track the success of marketing campaigns by collecting/analyzing/summarizing sales data, marketing campaigns, and online activities Qualifications Include: • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a comparable role • Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines • Having an understanding of basic photography and videography (could be simply on a phone) • Social Media experience across Facebook and Instagram • A bachelor’s degree or further education in the area of specialty is an asset • Excellent communicator.
