Brand New World Spa is hiring an in-house Marketing/PR Director. We are seeking a new member of our team to carry out the brand vision across several platforms with a close attention to detail, ability to juggle multiple projects at once, and an aptitude for greatness. As a vital part of the team you will work directly with the co-founders, Directors, PR agency, and outside freelancers to devise and execute new marketing initiatives to promote our mission, products and partners. If You: · Love using data to make quick, informed decisions without getting stuck in the weeds · Are a jack of all trades: You’re a solid writer and editor, tech and data savvy and have a discerning eye for photography and design, and what you can’t do yourself you can hire and oversee freelancers efficiently · Keep on top of new products, brands, marketing strategies, and ecommerce tools and trends · Have an entrepreneurial mindset: If you don't know something, you make it your mission to figure it out. · Thrive on multi-tasking, including disciplined approach to prioritizing your time investments and those of your team · Collaborate - a team player, leveraging your knowledge and those around you for the best possible outcome · Fiscal responsibility – manage annual budgets assuring best ROI for each initiative planned and for those that “crop up” in the year · Are an ambitious, hardworking self-starter: You have clearly defined goals, develop campaigns quickly and are excited to devise and tackle a lot of different projects · Love Hospitality Industry and care about guests and their memorable experiences This role will support from start-to-finish on all marketing + PR campaigns with ownership of key functions such as: · Managing brand’s campaign and event calendar to drive the largest revenue impact · Managing media plans and coordinating paid ad placements · Managing outside agencies for ad buys, graphic design, and organic social media initiatives · Brand management activities such as monitoring and implementing any changes to brand operations such as menu changes or hours · Scheduling meetings and workshops as needed · Planning and managing Marketing + PR campaign assets including photography, videography, graphic design, and copywriting Core Responsibilities · Build - or work with a design group to build - creative packages for hospitality campaigns · Develop event and campaign plans · Development and execute marketing and advertising campaigns for Harwood’s open restaurants across social media, PR, and media buys · Work closely with social media agency to build social media calendars based on set social media strategy · Ensure brand standards are met and information updated across all platforms including social media, graphic design, websites, and third-party listings · Work with the Brand Experience Marketing Manager to develop monthly reporting · Manage and update brands’ websites regularly · Manage print collateral needs · Manage design and printing of menus · Maintain image library · Create and maintain quarterly and monthly project progress boards · Work with hospitality operations to ensure campaigns and initiatives are set up to track · Create and produce in-restaurant branded materials · Communicate achievable project timelines to operations · Manage and execute photoshoots that align with brand goals and campaigns Required Education + Skills · Solid depth of experience with full, select and extended brand marketing · Strategic focus on design and development of creative to drive guest activity · Expertise in brand marketing and advertising planning, with proven results in use of measurable, data-driven media and channels · Orientation towards using key performance metrics to monitor marketing strategies, analyze trends and driving action · Team-orientation with excellent analytical and written and oral communication skills · Must be able to direct and manage multiple projects · Must possess strong consultative skills; balancing team and individual responsibilities · Minimum 5 years’ experience in hospitality marketing or related experience · Flexible availability to work during peak hospitality seasons and/or hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays · Must have extensive knowledge of computers and document management software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Squarespace, CRM, CTUIT, Google Drive, Campaign Monitor, Klaviyo Benefits- Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Employee Discounts, Free Meals.
