MARKETING / GRAPHICS COORDINATOR

This candidate will also have the following qualifications: QUALITIES:  Organized, self-starter, ability to juggle multiple tasks with differing deadlines  Good visual eye for document design and layout, detail oriented  Highly motivated, with the ability to function well in a very fast-paced yet laidback open studio environment (typically with dogs!)  Curious, self- motivated problem solver, ability to connect the dots  Collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills, desire to be a part of a team SKILLS:  Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite  Familiarity with Wordpress, Mailchimp, Planoly, Canva  Formatting, graphic layout and production  Writing and editing skills, previous work in copywriting a huge plus  Strong organizational and time management skills  Ability to multi- task, prioritize, and work independently in a very busy team environment  Entry level graphic design and typography  Photography / Videography skills a plus but not required  Experience with Adobe Lightroom and photo retouching a plus but not required  Web design a plus but not required  Architectural renderings and photoshop compositing skills a plus but not required RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDES (dependent upon candidates’ skills):  Manage multiple social media channels  Create visual and written content creation for social media, blog and newsletters according to overall marketing vision  Assist with copy for marketing materials, design and branding documents  Assist with website updates in Wordpress  Assist with project proposals, presentations and design review documents  Assist with the design and updates to marketing materials  Assist with occasional event coordination like quarterly artist receptions and popups  Assist with seasonal mailer campaigns and associated marketing materials  Project photography for social media and website  Graphic design assistance with branding and design team  Assist with branding and graphic projects, depending upon skill and experience  Assist with architectural graphics and renderings, depending upon skill and experience EDUCATION: BS or BA degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Architecture, Interior Design or related field is preferred EXPERIENCE:  Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a marketing and visual design capacity Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator, Social Media Manager, Copywriter, Visual Designer or similar role producing marketing and graphic design content  A/E/C experience preferred BENEFITS: Health insurance Life insurance Generous PTO allowance Dental insurance option Simple IRA option Compensation is competitive; will be commensurate with professional work experience.
