Opportunity Working with the CEO and Marketing Director, the Marketing & Sales Assistant will help marshal information, data, and resources using a variety of digital data tools and research and provide hands-on collaboration and assistance to improve the company’s digital marketing and sales performance. Responsibilities • Participate in the hands-on development and creation of marketing strategy, campaigns, content, and graphic design • Assist with planning and implementing the marketing calendar • Assist with expanding, monitoring and maintaining our online presence through SEO, SEM, social media, blogs, and other media • Assist with maintaining and updating the company’s website; including: Maximizing SEO; Updating the site, including, closed transactions, product changes, content/copy changes, photography, videos, and links; Improve the site by checking for misspelling, grammatical errors, broken links, and other functional errors; Maintain website assets • Assist with the company’s SEM development and implementation • Write copy for the company’s products and services, newsletters, press and earnings releases, and facilitate the development of creative content ideas that is consistent with the company’s brand and leverages SEO best practices • Survey and monitor the market and competition to recommend strategic plans • Assist with the development and maintenance of databases and lists • Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner • Assist with the development of processes to ease the transition of leads from marketing to sales • Keep all stakeholders informed of workflow, tasks completed and results Qualifications • Associates or Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Design, Visual Arts, or a related field • 2 years of digital marketing and advertising experience • Financial services industry experience is highly desired (e.g. bank, mortgage banker, broker dealer, investment advisor or similar experience) • Technologically proficient; comfortable working with and learning different digital advertising technologies • Impeccable spelling and grammar • Typing, editing, and proof-reading skills • Service minded attitude • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; including, verbal and written communication • Strong time management skills; ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure • High attention to detail • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite, Google AdWords, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Google+, etc.
