The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Taking photos and producing short videos for use by the Marketing Department and social media team. All McMenamin employees will also be expected to keep current on all company history, events and products. Requirements of the Job: • Experience taking photos and video with a DSLR camera • Knowledge of camera functionality, both manual and automatic • Previous experience preferred and/or formal education in taking both photos and video • Creativity and understanding of visual sequencing and timing visual content with audio • Ability to work within tight deadlines • Knowledge of lighting products, environments and people • Mac Computer skills in Photoshop, Lightroom and Final Cut Pro X or Adobe Premiere Pro required • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail • Understanding of sizing and formatting photos for different outlets including print, web, video and social • Ability to use company-provided Canon and Sony photography/videography equipment • Basic animation skills and familiarity with recording and editing audio a plus • Excellent people skills and ability to approach customers in a friendly manner to ask about being in photos • Able to photograph with minimal impact to the environment of the property/event • Regular travel to other locations.
