In this role, caregivers capture high-quality clinical, hospital, operating room, and research images for physicians, surgeons, residents, and staff across a variety of medical specialties. Working closely with clinical teams, the Medical Photographer must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, technical expertise, and professionalism while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality. A caregiver in this role will work 8:00am to 5:00pm or 7:00am to 6:00am supporting the Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery Department at CC Main Campus. Categorizes and files prints, slides and special programs.Mounts, labels and files slides.Maintains special filing system for research studies.Prepares and maintains a reference card file and a patient authorization card file for all photographed subjects.Duplicates visuals when needed.Organizes photographic presentations and artwork for exhibits.Prepares prints and graphs to be presented for physician's review.Mounts prints, graphs and typewritten captions to exhibit board and prepares board for shipment.Prepares video recorder and creates visual case histories and follow-ups of selected patients for presentations.Tests, selects and recommends purchase of audiovisual supplies and equipment for department's needs.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:High School Diploma or GEDKnowledge of photographic techniques and processes to produce high quality photographsMinimum three years related still, color and black and white photography experience (Associate's Degree in Photography/Audiovisual may substitute for one year of experience)Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:PortfolioAssociate's DegreePhysical RequirementsMotor coordination and manual dexterity sufficient for adjusting, focusing and working with fine types of equipment.Normal or corrected vision to ensure photographs are in focusMay require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health systemMust have own transportation to travel to multiple sitesPersonal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum hourly: $17.25Maximum hourly: $26.31The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
