Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition SummaryAs Senior Photography Studio Coordinator, you’ll be the operational backbone of our studio production—overseeing scheduling, logistics, client communications, and on-set flow. You’ll collaborate closely with photographers, stylists, clients, and post‐production teams, ensuring smooth shoots that meet creative vision and client expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesStudio & Shoot CoordinationManage studio calendar, confirm rental agreements, oversee location rentals, cross‐department scheduling (talent, stylists, assistants).Pre‐Production ManagementLead logistics including scoping calls with clients and creatives, confirm budgets, order supplies and props, ensure digital asset workflows.On‐Set SupportCoordinate call sheets, assist with setup (lighting, digital backup station), oversee catering/hospitality, trouble‐shoot issues in real time.Client & Vendor CommunicationServe as primary point‐of‐contact for clients regarding schedule changes, deliverables, asset review, and usage rights.Post‐Production CoordinationOversee transfer of raw asset delivery to retouchers/editors, track image versions, manage delivery deadlines, maintain usage license records.Budget & Billing OversightAssist production lead with rate negotiations (photographers, stylists, locations), manage vendor invoices and internal cost tracking.Process Improvement & TrainingRecommend workflow enhancements, train junior studio staff or coordinators, maintain updated SOPs (equipment checklists, safety).Requirements & Qualifications5+ years in photography production coordination, studio operations, or related creative roles.Proficient in studio scheduling systems (Moco, Canva, StudioBinder, etc. ).Comfortable with technical studio gear (lighting, tethering, digital capture); basic post‐production & editing familiarity.Strong organizational and multi‐tasking skills, with meticulous attention to detail.Excellent communication skills and client-facing presence.Experience negotiating contracts and managing production budgets.Collaborative mindset, proactive problem-solver, and able to work in fast-paced environments.Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Graphics, Art, Communications or equivalent work experience preferred.Preferred ExperienceBackground in fashion, e-commerce, product, or corporate photography.Experience managing complex shoots across multiple locations.Knowledge of usage-rights management and archive systems.
