Midwest Vision Partners is hiring: Ophthalmic Photographer in AkronAs an Ophthalmic Photographer, you will be responsible for documenting specific disease processes through photography and other imaging devices as requested by the ordering provider.Schedule:Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm OR 8:00am-4:30pmWhat you will be doing:Bring patients from the waiting area into the photography roomNavigate through an EHR system to verify and document information in the EMR system, including uploading files and photos to the patient's chartShoot accurate OCTs on both Zeiss and Heidelberg machinesTake fundus photos on Zeiss, Eidon, and Optos camerasInject and perform FA's and ICG's on multiple camera systemsPerform visual field and color vision testsTroubleshoot camera or machine issues and communicate with tech support as neededOther duties as assigned by the managerWhat you know:Required:High school diploma or GED equivalentExperience with Humphrey Visual Fields, OCTs, angiograms, and fundus photosAble to work in dim lightingStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of medical terminologyDesired:Ophthalmic Technician experienceWhat you will receive:Competitive wagesRobust benefits package including medical, dental, life and disability (short- and long-term) insuranceGenerous paid time off (PTO) programSeven (7) company-paid holidays401(k) retirement plan with company matchAn organization focused on People, Passion, Purpose, and ProgressInspirational cultureAbout Midwest Vision Partners:Midwest Vision Partners was founded in 2019 to build a premier eye care platform in partnership with Alpine Investors, a San Francisco-based private equity firm.
