MPTV Technician

**TITLE:** MPTV Technician

**RATE:** $17.71/hour (see benefits attached information)

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

-Experience with video editing software

-Experience with using professional cameras 

-Experience with file uploads and file management (YouTube channel)

- Strong interpersonal skills

-Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment physical, fingerprint-based background check, and Employment History Review.

**REPORTS TO:**Executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction, Technology & Safety

**JOB GOAL:**

To support the MPTV department in promoting the school district's brand and community engagement by producing high-quality, visually compelling promotional and informational video content.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Creates video content that highlights student and staff achievements, and clearly communicates essential information to families, staff, and the broader community.
* Assists in testing devices and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
* Communicates effectively with individuals of all ages.
* Performs file uploads and file management to post videos on district YouTube channel.
* Performs other related tasks as assigned by supervisor and/or the Executive Director of Curriculum and Technology (District Administrator)

Note: The responsibilities may include other duties as assigned, as the responsibilities listed above represent a majority of the tasks, though not an exhaustive list.

**TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:**

Part-Time, approximately three (3) hours per day during the school day, within the school year (August - May).
