SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics, is a fast growing, not-for- profit, dedicated to the advancement of light-based research and technology. The Multi Media Project Manager will work with internal teams to plan and execute media projects and manage digital content for SPIE. These projects will include, but not be limited to, podcasting, video production, photography, webcasting, and emerging forms of online content sharing consistent with the strategic and operational objectives of the organization. The successful candidate must be effective working with staff, vendors, and volunteers on projects requiring multimedia expertise, including audio, video, and animation which result in web-based distribution of media content. Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of professional experience in related industry duties, or 4 years professional experience in a new media or multimedia planning and service role where expertise directly reflects the competencies and experience in essential responsibilities listed above.
