Museum Collections/Archives Technician

This position is temporary for a term of approximately 18 weeks, effective immediately and works a part time schedule of 20 hours a week at a rate of $19 an hour. Non-essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Work directly with the collections staff in the safe handling and movement of collections objects. Background Check: Because the Collections Technician will be working within a high security area of the museum, a security background check may be done of the applicant. • Knowledge of and skill in handling objects and art. Must be able to see to examine, evaluate, and care for art and artifacts.
