Start Date: 4/10/2022 Application Due Date: Preference given to applicants that submit application by 3/4/2022 Title of Position: Natural Resource and Interpretation Intern Position Details: Stewards Individual Placements (SIP) provides individuals with service and career opportunities to strengthen communities and preserve our natural resources. SIP, in partnership with the Homestead National Historic Park, are seeking an intern who will focus on developing and leading one new interpretive activity that allow the visitors to explore the park with their camera; monitoring of freshwater mussels and the quality of the water in Cub Creek; and, decreasing prevalence of exotic species through removal and involvement of volunteers in the removal process. \\- Ability to get along well with others.
