About the position KTVB, the TEGNA-owned NBC affiliate in Boise, ID is looking for a highly skilled artistic News Photographer who can create exciting content for television, social media, and digital platforms. We are seeking a photojournalist who can visualize great stories solo and with a team. Responsibilities • Utilize the latest editing and photography tools and software to tell great stories , • Produce compelling, emotional, original content for broadcast and digital platforms , • Utilize creative story-telling techniques (lighting, photography, graphics, etc.) to enhance stories , • Be capable of covering, in a professional manner, a wide range of news topics, including breaking, general, sports, feature, investigative, and political , • Participate in daily editorial meetings by pitching strong, enterprise stories , • Maintain professional broadcasting equipment in clean, working order , • Safely operate news vehicles in a variety of locations and terrain, and operate live video technology , • Perform other tasks as required by management
