Newscast Director

We're seeking a skilled and innovative **Newscast Director** to lead live and recorded productions across television, streaming, and digital platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced newsroom, enjoys leading production teams, and wants to help deliver engaging content to audiences wherever they watch.

**What You'll Do**

* Direct live newscasts, special coverage, and locally produced programming.
* Lead control room operations, coordinating cameras, audio, graphics, and production staff.
* Produce and oversee content for broadcast, streaming, OTT, CTV, and FAST channels.
* Direct breaking news, weather, sports, election coverage, and special events.
* Operate and manage live-streaming technologies, including VMIX, OBS, and related production systems.
* Partner with newsroom, digital, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality productions across multiple platforms.
* Train and mentor production staff while helping develop best practices and workflows.

**What We're Looking For**

* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Experience directing live television or streaming productions.
* Knowledge of control room operations, live production workflows, and digital streaming technologies.
* Ability to perform under pressure and make quick decisions during breaking news situations.
* A collaborative team player who is passionate about producing compelling content.

**Qualifications**

* High school diploma required; degree in Broadcast Production, Communications, Journalism, Media Production, or a related field preferred.
* At least two years of experience in television production, directing, or newsroom operations.
* Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and weather-related coverage.
