Bowtie Media New York, New York

NYC Content Creator — Short-Form Video & Photography

Freelance/Contract | On Location in New York City

Production Date: Monday, September 28, 2026

Project Fee: $600–$1,000

About the Opportunity

Bowtie Media is seeking an experienced New York–based content creator for an on-location luxury home and design shoot the evening of Monday, September 28, 2026.

This is a one-day freelance production assignment that includes expedited post-production. The selected creator will capture polished vertical video and photography and turn that material into finished, social-first assets shortly after the shoot.

Bowtie Media and the client team will provide a creative brief, brand guidance and a defined shot list. We are looking for someone who can execute that direction reliably while also recognizing spontaneous details and moments that will strengthen the final content.

This project may lead to additional assignments for luxury home, interiors, culinary and lifestyle clients.

Responsibilities

Capture high-quality vertical video for Instagram Reels and other short-form platforms
Photograph interiors, products, design details and candid activity
Work from an established creative brief and shot list
Identify additional shots, angles and moments that support the brand story
Collaborate professionally with designers, clients, talent and event participants
Work efficiently within an active luxury residential, showroom or event environment
Organize, label and upload all raw footage and photographs within 24 hours of the shoot
Create three polished vertical videos approximately 15–30 seconds in length
Edit and deliver approximately 15–20 final photographs
Select appropriate pacing, music, transitions, typography and treatments consistent with the provided brand direction
Deliver initial edited assets within 48 hours of the shoot
Complete one consolidated revision round promptly following feedback
Deliver final exports within 24 hours of receiving consolidated feedback

Qualifications

Professional experience creating short-form social video and photography
Portfolio demonstrating polished vertical content for interiors, architecture, luxury, hospitality, food, fashion, beauty or lifestyle brands
Strong understanding of composition, lighting, camera movement and visual storytelling
Ability to edit engaging, contemporary social content—not simply document the event
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or comparable professional editing software
Photo-editing experience using Lightroom, Photoshop or comparable tools
Ability to interpret and execute a creative brief and shot list
Strong organizational skills and attention to file management
Clear, responsive communication before, during and after production
Ability to meet the required 24-hour upload and 48-hour initial-edit deadlines
Own a professional or high-quality mobile production kit suitable for vertical video and photography
Based in or able to work locally in New York City on September 28, 2026

Preferred Experience

Luxury interiors, architecture, home, appliance, culinary or designer-showhouse content
Working in occupied residences, showrooms or live event environments
Capturing designers, chefs, clients or other participants naturally on camera
Creating multiple social assets from a single production day
Incorporating tasteful motion graphics, typography or product information into short-form edits

Anticipated Deliverables

The anticipated project scope includes:

Up to eight hours of on-location production
Organized delivery of all usable raw video and photography
Two edited vertical videos approximately 15–30 seconds each
Approximately 10 edited photographs
Appropriate licensed or platform-cleared music
One consolidated revision round
Final social-ready exports in the requested formats

The exact number of edited assets and technical specifications will be confirmed in writing before production based on the final project fee.

Schedule

On-location production: Monday, September 28, 2026
Raw footage and photographs uploaded: Within 24 hours of the shoot
Initial edited deliverables: Within 48 hours of the shoot
Final exports: Within 24 hours of receiving consolidated feedback

Applicants should confirm that they can reserve sufficient post-production time immediately following the shoot to meet this schedule.

Compensation

$600–$1,000 total project fee.

The final fee will be determined by the confirmed production schedule, creator experience, equipment requirements and agreed deliverables. The project fee will cover the confirmed production day, organized raw-file delivery, editing of the agreed assets and one consolidated revision round.

The anticipated scope is two edited vertical videos and approximately 10 edited photographs. A larger final asset package may be agreed upon when supported by the confirmed project fee.

Any additional production time, deliverables or revision rounds beyond the written scope will require advance approval and may be compensated separately.

Reasonable, pre-approved local expenses will be reimbursed separately. Unapproved equipment rentals, assistants, transportation or other expenses will not be reimbursed.

Contractor Relationship

This is a project-based independent contractor assignment, not an employee position. The selected creator will be required to sign a project agreement before beginning work.
