Virtually all of the shoots take place in Pasadena. Both the community events and the social events are human interest assignments, which would typically be assigned 3 to 5 days in advance and would typically occur in late afternoon or evenings. The social event photography typically is set for 6 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and would involve taking one dozen photographs of couples or small groups of people at fundraising Galas for local nonprofits. It is necessary to locate and take photographs of specific dignitaries: the event’s honorees, the benefit chairperson, the host organization president, etc. Travel time to and from depends upon your location.
