The Ophthalmic Photographer performs all of the photography and angiography for the department of Ophthalmology. Participates in the care of patients in a clinical setting by performing various ophthalmic examinations; scheduling appointments and maintaining patient medical records. • Greets patients and gather demographic information and documents in the medical record. • Must be able to troubleshoot all devices • Knowledge of anterior segment and posterior structures of the eye • Can recognize and identify the ocular manifestations and associated findings of ophthalmic diseases and disorders. Bilingual or multi-lingual skills (beyond that of English) appropriate to the patient population served is a plus.
