Optician

This position requires someone with a great personality that enjoys working with people. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills, good time management, be detail-oriented, efficient at multi-tasking, and have the ability to meet with patients in a professional and friendly manner. Specific duties include: • Assist patients in the selection of their frames and provide style consultation. • Perform tests on patients prior to exams including ancillary testing such as color vision, depth perception, visual acuity, and retinal photography • Instruct patients in the proper care of glasses and contact lenses • Adjust and repair eyeglasses • Keep track of orders, prescriptions, and inventory. • We are looking for an experienced Optician; however, we are willing to train the right individual.
