An optometric technician is assigned to each patient to follow them through the patient's entire visit in our office. Among the job responsibilities include: Preliminary testing of patients prior to seeing doctor which includes: autorefraction/ keratometry, visual field testing, lensometry, retinal photography Contact lens assisting and training Sending in medical prescriptions to pharmacies Scheduling patients Optical order processing and dispensing of glasses Working with other members of our team cooperatively Experience is desired but not required. We are looking for a positive, intelligent, high capacity individual to join our team that enjoys being challenged. You must be comfortable and efficient on the computer, quick learning and able to multitask with the flexibility to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
