Part-time assistant needed for a small/ busy guitar repair shop in Las Vegas. I need a reliable, honest, and great person to help make the shop even better. Room to grow and the ability to learn the ins and outs of a successful business and be surrounded by music every day. Tasks Answering incoming calls and scheduling appointments Attending to clients via text and email Answering and sending emails Some errands - Must have own reliable transportation Mail runs to the Post Office and FedEx (as needed) Preparing instruments for repairs Handling repair check-ins and or pickups with clients Required Experience Versed with guitars and a general understanding of the instrument (Extensive training will be provided but please know what a guitar is, otherwise the response will be ignored) Excellent time management skills Professionalism and a positive upbeat attitude Excellent communication skills both written & verbal Punctual and dependable Experience with Mac, Google Drive, Docs & iPhones Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects Being surrounded by music is fun and exciting but it is a business and I need someone that I can count on that wants to advance their knowledge in this industry whether you're a musician, aspiring technician or just love music.
