Part Time Home Studio Assistant

Round Mountain Fibers is in search of a Part Time Home Studio Assistant: In
search of a cheerful, hard working, enthusiastic person to be my studio
assistant! Ideally work days would be Tuesday-Thursday, 10-2 or 10-4. If you
read the job description and love it, but those days don't work for you, write
me anyway. It really is all about finding the right person! Also, the hours
could increase as well, again, depending on how quickly you pick up the
skills. Starting pay is $12.55 per hour. First, you'd be trained in the work
my other part time employee is responsible for, so that you learn the basics
from the beginning (winding yarn into skeins, mixing dye, skeining/labeling
yarn, etc.). After that, (probably a week or two) we'd move on to dyeing. Your
principal responsibility would be dyeing yarn. This is both fun, challenging,
and physically demanding work. I've been doing all the dyeing myself for the
last year or so, and after 10 years of dyeing yarn I'm pretty exhausted and
don't have the time to adequately promote my work and create content for
social media and update my website etc. So the goal would be for you do learn
to and eventually take over the dyeing part of the operation. Pay will
increase to $15 an hour as soon as you can produce high quality colorways, and
pay will increase after that yearly until you are at $18 per hour.
Unfortunately that is the maximum I can pay, so if you're looking for a
position with greater pay and upward mobility, this is not the position for
