About Us

Soul Mates Bridal is a bridal studio located in Downtown Seattle / Pioneer Square. We offer bridal gown rentals, courthouse elopement photography, wedding photography, bridal makeup, styling, and all-inclusive elopement packages.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Photography Assistant to support our photographers during courthouse, studio, and outdoor bridal shoots.

Responsibilities

Assist photographers during courthouse, studio, outdoor, and bridal photoshoots
Prepare gowns, veils, bouquets, clips, pins, umbrellas, and other shoot essentials based on a checklist
Help style wedding gowns, trains, veils, bouquets, and small details during the shoot
Assist with reflectors, light stands, or other light equipment when needed
Help clients feel comfortable and supported throughout the session
Assist with behind-the-scenes content for social media when requested
Help keep the shoot on schedule
Check that gowns, accessories, bouquets, and props are returned after each shoot
Occasionally assist with courthouse shoots or other long-distance assignments

Qualifications

Interest in photography, weddings, bridal styling, fashion, or content creation
Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and professional
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable standing, walking, and assisting during photoshoots
Comfortable helping with delicate bridal gowns, veils, and accessories
Bilingual Chinese and English preferred
Photography assistant, wedding assistant, styling, modeling, event, or makeup assistant experience is a plus
Must be able to reliably arrive on time at our Seattle studio and assigned shoot locations
Reliable transportation is required; having a car and being comfortable with Olympia / outdoor shoots is preferred

Travel / Transportation

Some assignments may take place in Olympia or nearby outdoor locations. If a personal vehicle is needed for an assigned shoot, transportation adjustment and pre-approved parking expenses will be confirmed in advance.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
