Patient Intake Assistant – Full-Time, No Weekends

Maricopa Eye Care is seeking one full-time Patient Intake Team member, focused on preparing patients for their exams by inputting histories and conducting preliminary testing. Key duties for this position include: • Patient intake including recording medical history, medications, surgical history, chief complaint, history of present illness, and review of systems • Diagnostic and preliminary screening of patients • Preparing examination summaries and reports to referring Doctors and facilitating in-office referrals to surgical and/or ophthalmological specialists. Successful candidates must possess • Excellent verbal and written communications skills • Very strong computer skills and experience with Windows/MS Office • Solid math and science skills; preferably with some college education • Professional demeanor and the ability to work well with team members Experience with the following is helpful, but not required.
