Additionally, depending on the job duties required by the person you support you may be classified as Personal Attendant or Instructor. If you do any direct personal care that requires lifting at any time you are a Personal Attendant. • Provide 1:1 support (supervision) in the focus person's home, as well as in the surrounding neighborhood and community. • Provide personal support (outside of IHSS) to the focus person. • Other responsibilities may include assisting the focus person to interview/select in-home support workers, or other support personnel as deemed necessary by the Director and/or Coordinator(s).
