The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is seeking a full-time photo and video journalist to help us tell dynamic stories in the St. Louis region. We want someone to handle both quick work and deep work, depending on what the situation calls for. You'll be expected to work with urgency and immediacy for our digital platforms, but we'll also provide the time and opportunity for you to develop visual stories. Some of the skills that will support your success here are: • A strong sense of curiosity • An excitement about finding and telling stories visually, including single photos as well as short stories • A keen interest in how you see and compose photos • Technical proficiency and interest in how that improves visual storytelling • An audience-first mindset We'd like to see your work in as many areas as you have experience in — news, features, sports, portraits, lighting, storytelling.
