Aloha! Several people that started with us as interns are now working full time positions as integral parts of the team. Key Role: Keeping team on track, proofreading product pages, editing blogs, and critiquing creative content before publishing Responsibilities: -Manage workflow of the team -Ensuring business goals and deadlines are met (basically making calendars and checking up on if things have been completed) -Finding training resources for employees (we have several subscriptions that will help with this) -Proofreading all written work -Proofreading product pages on website for errors and taking note of missing information -Editing product photos for the website (this can be very repetitive work) Required Skills: -Excellent communication skills -Knowledge of photography, graphic design, creative design concepts, creative writing and writing for marketing -Ability to give feedback to team in a constructive, supportive way encouraging team members to continue to grow and better their skills (there is always a nice way to deliver their edits) -Proficiency in photoshop - BUT WE WILL TRAIN YOU -Excellent communication skills -Knowledge of all social media platforms and how they operate -Knowledge of current trends Daily tasks: -Review all work submitted daily for errors -Give feedback to all team members daily with edits -Check the task list to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner -Follow-up on any missing tasks -Record what tasks were not completed or not yet started -Proofread all blogs and other written work -Create graphics, art, and other creative work as needed -Assist at photoshoots as needed as "time keeper" of the shoot -Edit photos as needed Please forward your resume to us along with something about yourself and why you think you'd be a good fit.
