• Work closely with the photography staff to edit and guide stories towards publication. • Exhibit or develop a proficiency in on-site or remote editing of live news and sporting events. • Independently manages, guides and coordinates photography and visual images for assigned stories and features, ensuring the smooth flow of work to and from photo shoots, photo editing to production • Attend news meetings to gather information about ongoing and upcoming news events. • Has advanced photojournalism experience and judgment, has advanced knowledge of the photo image selection and editing • Has advanced experience in photograph research and editing, including the use of digital and electronic editing / cropping tools and software • Knowledge of videojournalism or video editing is a plus.
