About the position Interns will engage in local journalism, contributing to photo galleries, video work, and story pitches while being part of one of the largest privately owned media companies in the country. Responsibilities • Cover general assignments in-person , • Pitch stories and photo galleries , • Create posts and video work , • Utilize Nikon pool equipment for photography , • Collaborate with the newsroom team on various projects Requirements • Reliable transportation to meet with sources or cover events , • Ability to work 40 hours a week , • Experience with video and multimedia is a plus , • Proficiency in photography and photo editing software Benefits • Paid internship at $15.00/hr , • Reimbursement for mileage , • Access to MacBook Pro with Adobe suite applications , • Access to Nikon pool equipment
