summary

We are looking for a strong candidate to join our team in the Photo Printing Lab. Printing team members are proficient at multi-tasking, staying on top of the production queue, troubleshooting print issues, repairing machines, and maintaining calibration standards. They efficiently and effectively operate the machines in their area. This is a detailed position where self-motivation, focus, learning, and prioritization skills are paramount. This position reports to the Team Manager.

responsibilities

A significant amount of trust is being placed in your hands as you ensure prints are flawless and machines run smoothly. The following is an overview of responsibilities and expectations for this position:

Maintain printers by performing basic maintenance and cleaning
Keep up with daily consumables such as paper and chemistry
Stay on top of the printing queue and keep machines operating all day
Ensure high-priority prints are produced in a timely manner; i.e. reprints and rush orders
Work with the print inspect and book blocking teams so they have the prints they need
Recognize bottlenecks and adjust to meet demands of various departments
Communicate effectively with the team manager
Clean the Photo Printing Lab on a weekly basis
Assist other print departments with equipment repairs as needed
