Photo Shoot Production Manager In Studio or Onset - Fashion/Beauty Industry

Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking a Photo Production Manager with a background in beauty or fashion, ideally, to work for one of our fashion or lifestyle clients. Prior experience producing photo shoots – either for agency or corporate clients.

Contract: 3 months – highly likely to be extended

Location: Manhattan, NY – hybrid schedule *When not on a photo shoot, in office Tuesday – Thursday, WFH Monday and Friday mostly. When shooting, we are in studio or on location all days, and can shoot through weekends

Pay Rate: $48 - 75 hour on W2

JOB DESCRIPTION

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 5-8 years Producing experience - print, catalogue, magazine, newspaper, collateral, and the web

Responsiblities

Management position responsible for managing the creative photography process and coordinates the various creative components of each photo shoot to ensure they meet the creative and brand objectives on time and within the designed budget.Manage shoot budgets under direction of AVP Photo.Key Partners are Creative Director Photography, Photo Art Directors, Creative Operations, Sample Management, Merchants, Stylist, Finance and Outside VendorsSupport in the scheduling and booking of all photographers, models, hair, makeup, stylists, studios, outside production and locations for all photo shootsEnsure all release forms are signed and work with legal if any issues ariseNegotiate rates and fees to reduce costs while maintaining highest possible photographic standards for the Brand and while maintaining talent relationshipsSupport model castingsCreate and manage call sheetsManage the finalization and submission of all advances, billings, usage agreements and post-production work and ensure that these are within the allocated budgetReconcile all invoices from photo shoots, process, file and submit to Accounts Payable for processing. Manage all advance requests and net zero payments
