Photo Stylist

Location & Hours: This is a full-time, on-site position located at our Maumelle, Arkansas Photo Studio. A high level of attendance is required as an essential function of this position.Dillard’s is seeking a Photo Stylist to work with our Photo Studio team and perform visual styling of merchandise for photography. The ideal candidate is a driven, goal-oriented professional with an impeccable work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond to execute the best work possible; must take direction and critique gracefully while working effectively with a diverse group of individuals. This role requires a broad and well-rounded view of the fashion industry in order to accurately style merchandise representative of multiple demographic groups.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESReport to Studio DirectorOn-set styling of men’s, women’s and children’s on-figure shooting as well as productOversight and management of merchandise ensuring correct brand styling is maintained in all executed shootsMust effectively operate under conditions of tight deadlines and high volumes of shots while producing quality workConduct competitive industry research, present seasonal information on trends and how these should be interpreted for Dillard’sUnderstand the overall production flow and the need for timeliness and qualityMaintain a clean and orderly workspace and styling areaComplete other job-related duties as assigned to support the businessREQUIRED SKILLSBackground in retail, fashion, or e-commerce related fieldUndergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Communications or related fieldStrong communication and time management skillsA passion for fashion, retail, and the latest trendsCollaborative mindset and strong problem-solving skills to enable effective teamwork and issue resolutionProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Suite applicationsAdaptability to new systems and processes, with a willingness to learn and apply new skills as neededAbility to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative completing tasks accurately and efficientlyMust be available on weekends as needed during peak productionMINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE1 YearDESIRED SKILLSOn-set experience as a stylist or a styling assistantStrong knowledge of accurate garment fit and the ability to manipulate fabric to achieve the correct fit using safety pins and clamps.About UsDillard's was founded by William T.
