Photo Team Manager

Position Details
Position starts: June 2, 2026

Location: Hybrid – must reside in Greensboro, NC or the surrounding area.

Your Role

Lead and inspire the seasonal photo team to capture memorable moments for K‑12 students and families.
Train new hires with a 3‑day paid “Train the Trainer” session and on‑site virtual sessions.
Identify local locations for pre‑season training and coordinate with the Training Specialist.
Plan, schedule, and oversee photo‑day logistics for each event.
Research, secure, and maintain a centralized storage location for photography equipment.
Coordinate equipment pickup and returns with team members and weekly event leads.
Prepare equipment for shipment to headquarters at season’s end.
Partner with HR to interview and hire seasonal photographers.
Manage photographer assignments and scheduling for the assigned hub.
Communicate event details clearly to photographers and school contacts.
Set and enforce performance expectations aligned with company standards.
Facilitate weekly virtual team meetings.
Coordinate with the Travel Coordinator for hotel reservations.
Approve photographer expenses, overtime, and travel needs.
Execute photography using company protocol when acting as photographer or event lead.
Provide hands‑on support during peak photo days.
Attend 2–3 photo‑day events per week as additional support.
Travel to schools within the assigned hub as required.

Qualifications

Proven leadership experience and ability to perform under pressure.
Four‑year degree or equivalent blend of education, customer service, and business experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational sense and attention to detail.
Tech‑savvy and comfortable learning new software.
Physical stamina to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and maintain energy during long photo days.
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and travel.
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle capable of transporting equipment.
Comfortable interacting with students of all ages.
Professional appearance that reflects company image.
Consistent access to a reliable cell phone and internet service.
