Overview:** We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Photo Team Manager to lead our photography operations in the Lakeland, FL area. As a member of our innovative team, you will be responsible for managing a team of photographers, overseeing school picture day events, and ensuring the highest level of service to our clients. **Responsibilities:** • Manage a team of photographers, including... training, scheduling, and performance evaluation • Oversee school picture day events, ensuring timely and efficient execution • Coordinate with Event Leads, Travel Coordinator, and HR to ensure smooth operations • Train and develop photographers, including on-site and virtual training sessions • Ensure all photography equipment is properly stored, maintained, and distributed • Manage school assignments and Photographer scheduling for the service area • Establish expectations with photographers and school contacts to ensure adherence to JostensPIX standards and attendance • Attend/lead weekly virtual team meetings and oversee Photographer expenses • Work scheduled events as a Photographer or Event Lead, as needed • Assist with escalated troubleshooting or event issues • Travel to schools within assigned Hub as needed • *Qualifications:** • Demonstrated people management experience and leadership skills • Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, customer service, and general business experience • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with others at all levels within the organization • Valid US driver's license and access to reliable, insured vehicle • Extremely organized with a high attention to detail • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks under time pressure • Availability to work early mornings and late nights • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs • Comfortable working with computers and ability to learn multiple new programs • Excellent analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills • Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities • Grooming and demeanor appropriate for role and Jostens' corporate image • *Benefits:** • Competitive wage of $22-24/hour • Full-time status, eligible for healthcare benefits • Seasonal schedule (June through November/December, depending on event schedules) • Average of 30+ hours/week workweek with overtime opportunity/pay during peak dates • Paid training – no photography experience required • Option to be paid daily • Voluntary benefits, including home and car insurance, pet insurance, flexible spending account, travel discounts, and more
