Overview:** We are seeking a dynamic seasonal Photo Team Manager to join our innovative team and lead our photography operations to new heights! This role is a hybrid of remote and onsite work, involving a combination of working from home and at various school locations. You must live in the Oklahoma City, OK area for this position. **Responsibilities:** • Assist the hand-picked photography team... in capturing unforgettable moments for students K-12 and their families • Lead the day-to-day operations of your assigned Hub • Participate in a 3-day paid "Train the Trainer" session and virtual trainings • Identify a local location for pre-season Photographer training • Partner with Training Specialist to train School Photographers and Event Leads • Facilitate on-the-job training for new hires • Provide ongoing training and answer photographer questions throughout the season • Ensure school picture day events are well-staffed with the appropriate number of photographers • Research and determine centralized storage location for photography equipment • Receive, organize, and assign all photography equipment to photographers • Coordinate weekly pickups with Event Leads for photography hard drives, etc. * Collect all photography equipment at the end of the season and prepare for shipment back to MN • Partner with HR to conduct interviews and hire Photographers • Directly manage Photographers within the Hub • Manage school assignments and Photographer scheduling for service area • Ensure all details of each photo day event are clear to assigned photographers and school contacts • Establish expectations with photographers to ensure adherence of JostensPIX standards and attendance • Attend/lead weekly, virtual team meetings • Partner with Travel Coordinator for hotel reservation needs • Oversee and approve Photographer expenses; manage overtime and travel needs • Work scheduled events as a Photographer or Event Lead, as needed • Attend 2-3 Photo Day events per week as additional support • Assist with escalated troubleshooting or event issues • *Qualifications:** • Demonstrated people management experience and leadership skills • Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, customer service, and general business experience • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with others at all levels within the organization • Valid US driver's license and access to reliable, insured vehicle • Extremely organized with a high attention to detail • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks under time pressure • Availability to work early mornings and late nights • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs • Comfortable working with computers and ability to learn multiple new programs • Excellent analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills • Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities • Grooming and demeanor appropriate for role and Jostens' corporate image • Ability to travel within hub territory • Reliable, consistent cell phone (US) and internet access • *Benefits:** • Competitive wage of $24-26/hour • Full-time status - eligible for healthcare benefits • Seasonal schedule (June through November/December depending on event schedules) • Average of 30+/hour work week with overtime opportunity/pay during peak dates • Paid training - no photography experience required • Option to be paid DAILY • Voluntary benefits - home and car insurance, pet insurance, flexible spending account, travel discounts, amongst many more
