Photo Team Manager - Portland, OR

Overview:** We're seeking a dynamic seasonal Photo Team Manager to lead our photography operations in the Portland, OR area. As a hybrid role, you'll work a combination of remote and onsite, with a focus on team leadership and fast-paced operations. **Responsibilities:** • Assist a hand-picked photography team in capturing unforgettable moments for students K-12 and their families... • Manage school picture day events, ensuring proper staffing and equipment allocation • Coordinate training and onboarding for new hires and photographers • Partner with HR to conduct interviews and hire photographers • Directly manage photographers, scheduling, and assignments • Ensure adherence to JostensPIX standards and attendance • Attend/lead weekly virtual team meetings and oversee photographer expenses • Work scheduled events as a Photographer or Event Lead, as needed • Travel to schools within assigned Hub as needed • *Qualifications:** • Demonstrated people management experience and leadership skills • Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, customer service, and general business experience • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Valid US driver's license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle • Extremely organized with a high attention to detail • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks under time pressure • Availability to work early mornings and late nights • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs • Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities • Grooming and demeanor appropriate for the role and Jostens' corporate image • *Benefits:** • Competitive wage of $27-29/hour • Full-time status with eligibility for healthcare benefits • Seasonal schedule (June through November/December) • Average of 30+ hour work week with overtime opportunity/pay during peak dates • Paid training (no photography experience required) • Option to be paid DAILY • Voluntary benefits, including home and car insurance, pet insurance, flexible spending account, travel discounts, and more
