Photo, Video and Lighting Rentals Associate

We’re looking for a full-time Rentals Associate to join our passionate in-store team! The Rentals Associate plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building meaningful customer relationships, and communicates with confidence and professionalism. As a Rentals Associate, you will guide customers through product options, explain the benefits of our services, and help ensure each customer finds the right solution to meet their creative needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service to all Midwest Photo customers by effectively planning and organizing interactions to maximize engagement, generate new orders, and establish new rental relationships.Recommend and help customers select photographic equipment and accessories based on their needs, while describing and demonstrating merchandise and explaining proper use, operation, and care.Ensure rentals are returned on time by proactively sending email reminders and making phone calls to customers regarding overdue items.Monitor inventory to confirm returns and issue late charges when rentals are not returned by the agreed-upon date.Maintain knowledge of current product, sales, promotions, and policies regarding payment and exchanges as well as security practices.Answer phones quickly and courteously. Direct and transfer calls to the appropriate associate. If associate is unavailable email them the phone message.Complete all transaction types including but not limited to sales, returns, exchanges, drop ships, defective merchandise, etc.Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma/GED1-2 years sales experienceDesired:

Working knowledge of POS payment systems to record purchases1-2 years of experience working with and around photography equipment.Work Conditions:

Work indoors for most of the time. Additional on-site job work may be required (indoor and/or outdoors).Review and respond to phone messages daily from current or perspective customers.Answer phones and interact with employees, vendors, and customers daily.This position will require a great deal of walking, standing, and reaching on a daily basis.Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
