The photographer is responsible for coordinating, capturing, editing and delivering projects that elicits a strong emotional connection to the University of Florida and Student Life experience. Serve as the primary photographer for the Division of Student Life and the departments within the division Document student life activities for projects to showcase on web, print, social, and other platforms Coordinate and manage all photography shoots including studio, lifestyle, event coverage and special request Continually update division stock photos of students, staff... activities, facilities and locations Collaborate with marketing staff to coordinate creative requests Ensure photography aligns with the University brand aesthetics Responsible for the maintenance and care of equipment Edit images for style, consistency and tone Coordinate, plan, communicate and manage photography requests Regularly communicate with stakeholders on the planning and execution of photo requests Oversee conceptualizing, location scouting, shot lists creation, file organization and delivery of completed image sets Budget time and resources to align with division priorities and ensure work is completed on time and meets image standards Manage and maintain a searchable photo archival system Organize online and network database of photos Serve as the primary point of contact for all photo/video file requests Create and provide user training for system use as needed Provide supervision of student staff and general administrative management Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate student staff Responsible for the administrative functions related to employee management (e. g. time approvals) Responsible for developing, maintaining, disseminating and enforcing policies, procedures, and guidelines for areas of responsibility Interpret and ensure compliance with departmental and university policies, guidelines and other relevant regulations Analyze, generate and review processes and procedures for areas of responsibility and make recommendations based on findings Perform other duties as assigned Expected Salary: $50,000 - $52,000 Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Application must be submitted by 11: 55 p. m.
