Our newsroom is made up of a tight-knit group of journalists who support each other personally and professionally. • Capture compelling video, still and and sound in diverse settings to contribute to daily newscasts • Gather content for on-air and online platforms with an emphasis on creativity, lighting and composition • Edit stories and other videos for on-air and online platforms using in-house and field editing equipment • Work with reporters as a team and independently to capture news and tell compelling stories • Utilize lights, action cameras and other peripherals to enhance storytelling quality as needed • Operate microwave trucks, satellite trucks and bonded cellular equipment for live news elements • Keep a consistent open line of communication with producers and other newsroom staff about story assignments and coverage plans • Always serve as a professional representative of WDRB News in the field and in the newsroom WDRB Media is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
