A Day in the life of a Photographer No day is the same as the next when you are a photographer Traveling around the Milwaukee or Chicago regions and being on time to your photo assignments is something you'll do every day. Our scheduling managers take geography into account when creating work schedules, so we do our best to limit the need to be a road warrior. There is a lead photographer on your photo assignments, so you're not on your own. Action and event photographers work on their own in the afternoons and weekends.
